Consuelo Hernández awarded by the Royal Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters of Paris

The member Consuelo Hernández received last June 22 in Paris the “Silver Medal” award given by the historical Societe Académique Arts – Sciences – Lettres de Paris, after having been selected for her candidacy.

The Academy Ars – Sciences – Lettres de Paris is an institution of great prestige founded in 1915 whose mission is to promote art and culture in the world as well as the recognition, through honorary distinctions, of the personalities that have contributed to the development of the arts , sciences and letters, both in France and in the rest of the countries of the planet.

Each year, Arts-Sciences-Lettres awards the prizes by decision of its Higher Commission of prizes, after the study and selection of the candidatures established and presented in accordance with the regulations of the institution. The list of laureates is decided once a year in accordance with the terms and conditions established in the award form.

The Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters of Paris enjoys, since its foundation, the high patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the President of the French Republic.

The solemn prize-giving ceremony was held in the great Opera Hall of the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris, followed by a gala dinner represented by the president and members of the Academy along with the laureates and personalities of culture, art , of the sciences and letters of France and of different countries.
