Under the title “Almas de mujer”, the member Eva González Morán exhibits her latest works in the Juana Francés Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Board of Tetuán until May 23.
The exhibition, which opened on May 10, is presented by the author herself:
There are many ways to approach a woman’s face. In my case I try to do it from within, from the darkest corner, making mine the feelings that these women breathe.
Women who feel hope, lack of love, fear, resilience. Strong women that in spite of the lived thing, once they were little girls that knew nothing of anything, whose image has remained veiled by the time like in a nebula. Women who feel wanted and loved, and also women who suffer violence. Women to whom the wind brings presences and memories.
Each one takes us to a different story narrated in the third person, which places the viewer on a unique platform to understand each work. Painting, drawing and engraving accompanied by poetry that speak of Souls of Woman.
