José Gabriel Astudillo, President of the AEPE, has made the introduction of the published catalog with such reason that we reproduce below:

”Leonardo said that great men began great works and working men finished them.

Well, that’s right, Ramón Córdoba combines work and genius, tireless and discovering in each work a painting that without more, has everything. And it is that the trade and the know-how and pleasure, is something that as an artist shows us in each one of the works that he performs and that is as if he wanted us to enjoy and delight with each of his brushstrokes, his lights, his nuances , and in short, his good work to which he has always accustomed us.

This exhibition is a luxury for those of us who will enjoy this colossal show in the cultural center of Sanchinarro ».

On Tuesday the exhibition of Leovigildo Cristóbal, Tritoma Prize of 84 Autumn Salon opens

The next day, December 4, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. will take place the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Leovigildo Cristóbal, Tritoma Award of the 84th Autumn Salon, which will last until January 7, 2019, at the Sanchinarro Cultural Center (C / Princesa de Éboli, 29. 28050 Madrid, schedule: L to V from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., S and D from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The event will be attended by the President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo and the Managing Director of TRITOMA, José Luis Manzanares.

José Gabriel Astudillo, President of the AEPE, has made the introduction of the catalog published for such reason that we reproduce below:

“Talking about Leovigildo Cristóbal is talking about Peru. Not only because that is his birthplace (Ticllos, province of Bolognesi, Department of Ancash), but because everything in it calls the artistic life of a great nation such as Quechua, which treasures great cultures such as the Nazca and large Inca treasures such as Machu Picchu. It is those colors and those lands that flood the production of cholo works, which are so characteristic and that represent the reflection of their landscapes and their artistic tradition, present in the Andes mountain range and in the virgin forest surrounding the lake Titicaca All his creations are characterized by the color of lighted tones and many contrasts, with the different nuances that disperse the seas, mountains and deserts of the Andean country. The white snow of Huaytapallana, the blue of Lake Titicaca, the lush green of the Amazon rainforest of Iquitos, the colonial yellow of Trujillo, the purple of the dawn of the Ucayali river, the intense red of the dishes of the earth, the orange of the sunsets of the Amazon, the golden desert of Paracas and the impressive rainbow of all its festivals and popular celebrations. This illustrious son of Ticllos, “ORGULLO DEL PERÚ”, shows his belonging to the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors that I am honored to preside over. His continued presence in the Autumn Salon and other events of our organization, has shaped his idiosyncrasies and shapes his special vision of the Andean world that always provides us with large formats and selected themes in which the figure of women always stands out. In the last edition number 84 of the Salon de Otoño, Leovigildo Cristóbal Valverde was awarded the “Premio Tritoma” awarded by a consolidated company and expert in cultural management with more than 30 years of experience, which now presents a monographic exhibition of the Peruvian, in the one that we are going to enjoy that color and that chromatic sensitivity that to all his works prints who so deeply loves them “.

Exhibition of Mutsumi Miyahara, Tritoma Award in the 83rd Autumn Salon

With the presence of the President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo, the Vice President of the AEPE, Juan de la Cruz Pallarés, who addressed the attendees, and the Managing Director of TRITOMA, José Luis Manzanares, the Sanchinarro Cultural Center opened on November 8 the exhibition “The Spain seen by the Japanese painter Mutsumi Mayahara” TRITOMA AWARD at the 83 AEPE Autumn Salon 2016.

We do not know exactly what it was that captivated Mutsumi Miyahara and led her to settle in Spain and develop in our country her creative work. The fact is that for more than 25 years he has been delighting us with his particular landscapes, so that he has created a style and technique of his own, which are identifying his peculiar work.

With honorable mentions and awards that recognize his work, assiduous to contests in which he has managed to stand out, his work has been described as “almost naive”, with compositions in which flat colors predominate, nothing simple or simple but well defined and contrasted, and the light that has also captivated his particular perception of art.
The pointillism that has evolved, gives space and time to each work, gives texture and thickness to the landscapes and makes them more suggestive and suggestive based on small strokes of delicate stroke and rich color range.
Flat colors full of volume that lead to an architecture where buildings and spaces are intended to provide the aesthetics of work, which as a whole is colorful and contemporary, innovative and cutting-edge lines that do not stray from the line that has characterized his paintings and why he is so recognizable.
In the 83rd edition of the traditional Autumn Salon organized by the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, Tritoma Cultural Management wanted to join a great event with its participation in the oldest and most prestigious artistic competition held in Spain.
The result of this extraordinary collaboration was the Tritoma Award, which went to Mutsumi Miyahara, a great artist of peculiar technique and style and whose exhibition will allow us to enjoy and learn more about his work.
