XIII Spring Salon “For lands of Castilla La Mancha”, in the Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas

The Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas hosts from June 7 to 30, 2019, the 13th edition of the Spring Show “For Lands of Castilla-La Mancha”, for which a total of 49 works have been selected from over a hundred of those submitted to the contest organized by the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo, the Vice President of the entity, Juan Manuel López-Reina, as well as the Secretary General of the AEPE, Mª Dolores Barreda Pérez and various members of the Board of Directors, such as Alicia Sánchez Carmona and Treasurer Ana Martínez Córdoba, as well as the Delegate of Valdepeñas and Ciudad Real, Enrique Pedrero and the municipal authorities.

At the opening ceremony, the jury minutes and the awards ceremony were read. The Jury was formed by Juan Manuel López-Reina, Vice President of the AEPE and Mª Dolores Barreda Pérez, Secretary General of the AEPE, acting as President and Secretary of the Jury, respectively, both with voice and without vote, and as Members of the Jury , Fernando de Marta Sebastián and Ana Martínez Córdoba both directors of the AEPE, and the painter and randomly chosen partner Miguel Ortiz Valderrama.

According to José Gabriel Astudillo, President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, the interest of the Board of Directors that presides over supporting this Valdepeñas Spring Show “For the lands of Castilla La Mancha”, led two years ago to the express creation of the awards, the José Moreno Carbonero Painting Medal and the Lorenzo and Federico Coullaut Valera Sculpture Medal, both founding partners and outstanding artists who are honored in this way, as well as the Honorable Mentions that the Jury considered appropriate.

The work entitled “Melibea”, by Vicente Moya, has been awarded the José Moreno Carbonero Painting Medal, while the work of Jorge Yunta, whose title is “Remanso”, has won the Lorenzo and Federico Coullaut Valera Sculpture Medal. In addition, the Jury awarded Honorable Mentions to the works of Concha Muñoz, Leodegario and Teresa Romero.

The president of the AEPE, José Gabriel Astudillo, congratulated the City Council of Valdepeñas “who is firmly and decisively committed to current art and above all to support the Association and make possible the realization of this event in a land that should have the distinction of “Protected Artistic Denomination”.

The exhibition shows the latest works of more than forty artists, most of them belonging to the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, who have been finding a prominent place in Spanish contemporary art. Each of them represents different generations, but united under the common denominator of contemporary language that moves between figuration, abstraction and the avant-garde.

On the 7th of June the XIII Valdepeñas Spring Salon of the AEPE is inaugurated

The XIII Spring Salon of Valdepeñas, “For lands of Castilla La Mancha” is a call that is becoming traditional and has works of a high quality, in a contest for which the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors has been offering best of its partners and artists, since it is celebrated in a unique environment such as the Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas, a small jewel that enhances any artistic celebration.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the Jury’s decision and award ceremony will take place, thus giving the chance to know the works awarded with the José Moreno Carbonero Painting Medal and the Lorenzo and Federico Coullaut Valera Sculpture Medal, created specifically for the occasion in memory of the founders of the AEPE, as well as the Honorable Mentions determined by the Jury.

Called the XIII Spring Salon of Valdepeñas of AEPE

“For lands of Castilla La Mancha”

The Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors has convened the XIII edition of the Valdepeñas Spring Salon “For lands of Castilla La Mancha”, which may be attended by all artists residing in Spain who wish.

Each author may attend the contest with as many original works as he wishes, the theme and technique being free.

The contest includes the sections of painting (drawing, engraving and watercolor) and sculpture The minimum size will be 50 x 50 and the maximum of 150 x 150. Each work presented will bear the author’s name, address, title, technique employed and the measures.

The following prizes will be awarded: JOSE MORENO CARBONERO PAINTING MEDAL, endowed with AEPE Medal and Diploma, the COULLAUT VALERA SCULPTURE MEDAL (LORENZO AND FEDERICO), endowed with AEPE Medal and Diploma and Distinct MENTIONS OF HONOR, equipped with Diploma. The Qualification Jury may grant the Honorable Mentions that it deems appropriate. The jury, which will designate the award and order of the prizes, will select the works for the exhibition and will be able to resolve any eventuality not foreseen in the bases, will be made up of experts of recognized prestige.

The awarded and selected works will be exhibited in the month of June at the Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas, located on Calle Real, 42 (Valdepeñas) and the awards will be presented at the inauguration ceremony, which date will be reported conveniently

The Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas hosts from June 1 to 25, 2018, the twelfth edition of the Spring Show “For Lands of Castilla-La Mancha”, for which a total of 45 works have been selected from over a hundred of those submitted to the contest organized by the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo, the Secretary General of the AEPE, Mª Dolores Barreda Pérez and various members of the Board of Directors, such as Alicia Sánchez Carmona and Ana Treasurer Martínez Córdoba, in addition to the Delegate of Valdepeñas and Ciudad Real, Enrique Pedrero and the municipal authorities.

At the opening ceremony, the jury minutes and the awards ceremony were read. On this occasion, the jury was chaired by José Gabriel Astudillo López, President of the AEPE and Dª. Ana Martínez Córdoba, Treasurer of the AEPE, acting as President and Secretary of the Jury, respectively, both with voice and without vote and by the Members Fernando de Marta Sebastián and Juan Manuel López-Reina, both directors of the AEPE, as well as the Painter and partner chosen at random Eugenio Fernández Díaz.

In addition, the Jury has awarded two Honorable Mentions to the works of Martina Cantero and Pilar Sagarra.

The jury was presided over by Mª Dolores Barreda Pérez, Secretary General of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, and Itziar Zabalza Murillo, Adviser to the Presidency, both with voice but without vote, also counting as vocals of the same Alicia Sánchez Carmona, Member of the Board of Directors, Fernando de Marta, Librarian and Ana Martínez Córdoba, Treasurer of AEPE.

The work entitled “Primavera en la quinta”, by Federico García Zamarbide, has been awarded the José Moreno Carbonero Medal of Painting, while a glazed terracotta titled “Adonis II” has obtained the Medal of Sculpture Lorenzo and Federico Coullaut . In addition, the Jury has awarded Honorable Mentions to the works of María García, Manuel Gracia, Adriana Berges, Ricardo Montesinos and María Xesús Díaz.

At the awards ceremony and opening of the exhibition, Enrique Pedrero, AEPE Delegate in Castilla-La Mancha said that this event is already a consolidated event and considered “one of the most important in the region with a national character.” With respect to the works that have been selected this year, he spoke of his variety of styles and techniques, although in a global way can be observed in all “the constant intention for the creativity and the investigation of the Plastic Arts”.

For his part, José Gabriel Astudillo López, President of AEPE, recognized the support of Valdepeñas City Council to the Association and the Spring Room during its eleven years of existence. “After 107 years of history, it is very gratifying to reach a Public Administration and see how well it is hosted by our organization so that AEPE has a dignified exhibition in Castilla-La Mancha.”

In this regard, the municipal responsible for culture, Manuel López, has told them that they will continue to count on the support of the City Council, because “we work to spread the culture”.

On Thursday, the XI Salón de Valdepeñas

The XI Hall of Valdepeñas “For land of Castilla La Mancha” of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors is inaugurated on Thursday June 1, at 7 pm, at the Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas, and can be visited until the next 25 June.
At the opening ceremony, awards will be presented for the first time for this edition, such as the José Moreno Carbonero Medal of Painting and the Medal of Sculpture Lorenzo and Federico Coullaut, both founding partners of the centenary entity and outstanding artists to whom Is paid homage, in addition to the Mentions of Honor that the Jury considered appropriate.
On Tuesday, May 16, at the headquarters of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, the selection and qualification panel of the XI Salón de Valdepeñas, presided over by Mª Dolores Barreda Pérez, Secretary General of the Spanish Painters Association Itziar Zabalza Murillo, Adviser of Presidency, both with voice but without vote, also counting as vocals of the same Alicia Sánchez Carmona, Member of the Board of Directors, Fernando de Marta, Librarian and Ana Martínez Córdoba, Treasurer of the AEPE.
As Jose Gabriel Astudillo comments, “for the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors it is very important to promote this consolidation in a Hall as important as that of the city of Valdepeñas, which has an enviable and cultural offer and art that deserves It’s worth being present, if only once a year. ”
The number of works presented to the contest has exceeded the hundred, for which the Jury has had to select the best works, and those that presented a higher quality, and finally will be 36 that are exhibited in the exhibition.

X Spring Salon “By land of Castilla La Mancha” at the Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas

The Municipal Museum of Valdepeñas hosts from 2 to 26 June 2016, the X Spring Salon “The Lands of Castilla-La Mancha,” for which they have selected a total of 34 works from among more than hundred of those presented to event organized by the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, José Gabriel Astudillo, Vice President of the entity, Juan de la Cruz Pallarés and various members of the Board of Directors, in addition to the CEO of Valdepeñas and Ciudad Real Enrique Pedrero and municipal authorities, led by the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Manuel Lopez Rodriguez and the Director of Cultural Services, José Javier Perez Aviles.

In the opening ceremony we proceeded to perform the reading of the minutes of the jury and to make the awards. The work entitled “African Women”, the artist Carmelele, mixed media on wood and cardboard, has been awarded the First Prize of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, while the second prize was awarded to the painter Manolo Romero Solano, also by an oil titled “World of color”.

Berges, Victoria Moreno, Antonio Municio, Daniel Nunez Thomas, Feliciana Heras Ortega, Enrique Muñoz Pedrero, Mavi Recio, Manolo Romero Solano, Felipe San Pedro Diaz, Pedro Sanz, Naomi Such, Pedro Vergara, Nerza Villegas, Zarate.

The exhibition displays the latest works of more than thirty artists belonging to the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors, who have been finding a prominent place in the Spanish contemporary art. Each of them represents different generations but united under the common denominator of contemporary language that moves between figuration, abstraction and avant-garde.
